Nothing like it

Australian Rules Football is in a league of its own. There’s nothing like it. To fan the flame of pride for our national game, we created an integrated campaign that showed Australian’s nothing in the world can compare to it.

We travelled the world and showed our game to people for the first time. While very few understood it, no one could deny how fast and hard it’s played. We filmed the reactions of people from all walks, from soccer fanatics, to Texas ranchers, college football players and tai chi hobbyists, and aired their responses back home in Australia.

Activation

To further prove our game is without equal, we looked to the one prize coveted above all others - the AFL Premiership Cup. This precious metal is sought after by every player in the league and hungered for by every fan in the country. When the cup is forged, 42.2 grams of metal is left behind. We set out to prove that this metal is beyond comparison, that it’s more valuable than gold or platinum, and that it’s in fact, the most precious metal in the world.
